During your stay Old Wailuku Inn, a premium choice for your Maui lodging and accommodations, enjoy our deliciously fresh breakfast each morning. Our inn prides itself on providing our guests with the delectable breakfast options that include only locally grown ingredients.

Old Wailuku Inn is known for our attention to detail and providing the best Maui accommodations available. Our breakfast is no exception. Our guests start every day of their visit with a full, home cooked gourmet breakfast. We begin with a refreshing seasonal fruit course that may include local Kula strawberries, papaya from our garden with currants and gooseberries, Maui Gold pineapple with raspberries and blueberries, fresh Maui mango, local apple bananas, melon, pears, or peaches. Some of our fruit is even picked from the inn’s grounds!

Breakfast is served every morning at 8:00 a.m. in our lovely breakfast room, upstairs in the Main House. You may arrange in advance for a continental breakfast as early as 7:00 a.m. Please let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions and we will do our very best to accommodate you. We are able to accommodate both vegetarians and vegans. Sharing breakfast around our dining room tables is a wonderful way to start the day. It provides an opportunity for all of us to get to know each other and compare notes on all the fantastic things to do and see on our Island home of Maui.

Start your day of exploring Maui and the surrounding cities off right by fueling up on our delicious breakfast options! We prepare a different entrée each day of the week, all of them hearty and delicious. Carafes of fresh orange juice are on the breakfast table each morning.  We serve our own blend of rich coffee. Decaf is available and will be ready for you at 8:00 a.m. with advance notice. Here is our current menu:

Weekly Breakfast Menu (subject to change)


Scrambled Eggs, sautéed mushrooms, and Portuguese Sausage (pork sausage, a local favorite)


Waffles topped with fresh fruit in season (banana, pineapple or mango) in a caramelized sauce


Baked Egg Scramble with tomato, spinach, potato and feta cheese


Banana Pancakes topped with macadamia nuts


Breakfast Enchilada – green onions, sweet peppers, turkey and cheeses, wrapped in a flour tortilla shell and baked in a special egg batter.


French Toast – topped with special cheese and mint sauce, made by Innkeeper Janice.


Vegetable Frittata – vegetables and cheeses baked with marinara sauce.

* For a lighter Alternative Breakfast Entrée on any day, we can serve you Oatmeal or Granola. Please give us at least a day’s notice if you’d like oatmeal.
